“This last episode truly disturbed me. There were several jarring scenes. I really cannot get over the prettiness of the show and the pastel vibes and opulent Versace home as the backdrop for a loose killer in a deranged state. Everything looks like a fever dream. But it’s very engaging. I’m easily disturbed by true crime, and not to say it’s more palatable but I’m actually at least able to keep going due to the fascination for Donatella and her strength and vulnerability, Cunanan’s heinous psyche hidden behind practiced falsehoods and Max Greenfield in his characters loneliness and hopelessness. I’m very much enamoured by Penélope and Darren’s performances. They make me feel a certain type of way when in screen.”
