“In an effort to reduce screen time we are listening to podcasts in the car. I searched for podcasts narrated by and or/starring Black children because representation matters! I downloaded several for my 8 yr old daughter to select from and she listened to the first episode Stoopkid Stories and was hooked! There have been no complaints about wanting to watch a show on the car ride because she wants to hear what’s going on with the podcast. I also love that my child gets to view life through the lens of other Black children. Also, the narrator is fun, engaging and authentic!”
