Description
#20 Movement Activism
The story of the dance artist, performer, teacher and blogger Diana Thielen, who is fascinated by the human body in all its expressions: how we move, how we present ourselves, how we position ourselves socially, how we change and adapt over our lifetimes in response to various challenges. Her research in Gender Studies supports her theory that our identity is always embedded in complex power situations and that our bodies cannot be encompassed by biology and physics alone. She calls her approach to movement “Movement Activism”.
