Very unique.
The hosts voice is very gentle and calming and he has touched on a topic you don’t hear about very often. Those of us who grew up, born and bred in America, really don’t have any idea or thoughts of what it’s like to have to go to another country and figure out how to blend in to society and be accepted. This shows what people go through even from young children or adults when they come to this country and it makes a person who’s been here her whole life, open her eyes and realize how difficult it must be for these people when they come here and it breaks my heart that little children would have to suffer being singled out or feeling how our country can be racist. I recommend listening to this podcast because it will definitely open your eyes and open your mind.

Baktash is a fantastic interviewer and really dives deep into the stories of his guests, showcasing the struggles they had (and some still have) with the emphasis on positive growth. The editing is fantastic and the music adds nice touches to create an intriguing ambience. Highly recommended!
