Description
'Whether you are African or belong to the African Diaspora and have African Heritage, should you be able to face questions such as ‘where are you really from?’ and answer in ways that tell your ‘story’ in order to turn the conversation around? ' (Tracy DW) In this episode Tracy shares her reflections about the conversation between Ngozi Fulani and Lady Hussey that has caused so much  controversy and provoked a range of responses. Tracy finds answers to the question 'where are you really from?' by asking another question as well as a look at a fundamental issue that can easily be overlooked. Through her podcasts, Tracy DW promotes a global approach to understanding history and invites you to share her learning journey about Britain's colonial past. She asks the question 'History is...a matter of fact or perspective?' and invites you as the listener to explore possible answers.
