“Have really enjoyed “most” of the topics and how they’re reported. Having listened to Joel on other platforms and I know he has tried not to offend while being funny and interesting. It was what drew me to the show.
Here comes the complaint….Using the word “Hoax” in the title of the East River Mammoth story was disingenuous. And the subtle, but rude digs on the way Joe Rogan was “high” or insinuating he did something wrong and somewhat irresponsible is so silly. You couldn’t just report an interestingly story, you had to signal that you don’t like Joe Rogan to ensure you didn’t get backlash from his haters. All the while using his story to create your podcast.
Hmmm, I’d say 90% of the time you interview the source of the content to create your own content. It’s the show, I love it. Not this time. You interviewed a non-involved third party so you could distance yourself, inject just enough negativity to ensure no backlash and then packaged in a way to attract Rogan fans and haters. Yuk”
