“If you start listening to “Story of the week,” it might not hook you immediately. It didn’t hook me immediately. But man, stick with it because it’s an incredibly charming, funny, and informative podcast that will rapidly become one of your staples.
Joel Stein is a fantastic host, and his dry humor is always tinged with a, kind of… positivity that makes me happy. His interactions with the guest journalists are fluid and the stories themselves are almost universally fascinating.
Great host, great content, and it’s… HAPPY. Try it, for at least a few episodes. You’ll love it.”
