This interview was recorded at Edge Hoboken 9/14/2016. Dave Esposito discusses topics relating to teaching wrestling for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu athletes and MMA fighters. Dave is a two time all American NCAA wrestler and one of the best takedown artists during his college career. He has since coached wrestling at all levels including high school state champions, ncaa champions, and olympians. He currently teaches at one of the top wrestling clubs for high school in the country ( The Edge). He has worked with and cornered UFC champion Frank Edgar. He is currently training the UFC's most successful submission artist Demian Maia. He trains 2015 IBJJF absolute gi world champion Bernardo Faria. He also trains Belator and World Series of Fighting champions. He is corner Phillipe Nover in his UFC fight against Renan Baroa. He runs Edge Hoboken NJ, which offers public classes in Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Wrestling, and MMA in addition to training young wrestlers and elite athletes. He is also a Brown Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and has mma fighting experience. This interview is done by his longtime friend and college wrestling teammate Warren Stout.
