Straight From The Off - With Dean Forshaw

Description
Straight From The Off welcomes Dean Forshaw to the Podcast. Dean grew up in Croxteth and like so many of our guests started out playing footy in the streets growing up. Suprisingly, Dean didn’t really feature for his school side De La Salle as he didn’t see eye to eye with the teacher (unsuprisingly!) Following in his fathers footsteps he signed for the Oyster as a teenager and went on to win everything there is to win in amatuer Sunday football. Hear why they dominated for over a decade, winning two National Cup Finals along the way. Dean tells us why he didn’t really fancy playing for teams outside Crocky, even after scoring a hatrick on his debut for Cammel Lairds. He talks about his favourite goals, games and all about the lads he shared a pitch with and played against throughout those times. Episode 92 is brought to you by: Elite Lanscaping Northwest
