“Hard to take seriously. Presenter, journalists, and producer all appear to suffer from ‘Main Character’ syndrome. Who cares that they posted something online? Only them. Who needs post-match audio notes full of hot takes which are often rolled back in the rest of an episode? Not even them. This could be a great podcast, but it shot itself in the foot by losing Sam Parkin: the only contributor who brought insights based on experience. If it concentrated on Chelsea FC news and terrible quizzes it would be brilliant. Sadly, it doesn’t.”
