Description
In the last few episodes, I have talked to some phenomenal guests about their personal worship journey and how they’ve managed to continue making music. Developing new forms of expressions for yourself is an important step of the journey, but how about our communities? How do we practice our faith together in our new reality?    About two years ago, I stumbled across Aaron Niequist’s book The Eternal Current, in which he tells his story of leading worship on big stages and leaving it all behind. His ideas have transformed the way I think about church services and community, and I am so glad Aaron joins me on the podcast today to share more of his story. Useful links for the episode and the small print: You can find Aaron via his website or his Instagram. You can also find more about A New Liturgy there if you want more practical support. I highly recommend his book The Eternal Current. WaterBrook, 2018. The book Aaron mentions at the beginning is The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard (2014). Richard Rohr. Everything belongs: The gift of contemplative prayer. Crossroad, 2003. If you seek German-speaking support in the wilderness, find your people at  @freikirchen.ausstieg or @glaubensweite.
