“The good:
I’ve been listening to Strong Opinion Sports for a few months starting in grad school. Zac’s analysis has tremendously improved and provides realistic takes without gimmicky Nick Wright-esque techniques. The podcasts are incredibly structured and he seems to take feedback well. Furthermore his voice is sufficiently loud and animated to hold my attention yet not overpowering as to distract from my main task. Other podcasts put me to sleep, but Zac’s strikes the right balance.
The Opportunities:
I would love Zac to take questions outside of Patreon, but money is money. Zac would also be well-served to diversify sports, not leagues. I love his NFL analysis but the XFL analysis feels odd, the time could be better split between XFL and NBA content, for example.
Overall:
A hidden gem among sports podcasts. Keep it up!”
