Sums up what I’ve been thinking and helps with new ideas too!
I have struggled my whole life with so much of what KC talks about and even before I found her work, I’d started on the journey of self acceptance and it’s made a big difference. I’d been searching for “cleaning tips that actually work for people with ADHD” when I found her and by golly, her tips do work. But I also love that she fully admits that somethings work for her for a while and then don’t work anymore and that really helped me not feel bad about it being that way for me too. I enjoy this longer form of the podcast in addition to the short TikTok videos because I can put it on while doing other things and not have to keep coming back to my phone to queue up the next video etc. Each of the 3 episodes out so far have spoken to me and I plan to go back and listen to the first 2 again to take notes. I’ve shared the Eco Shame episode with my friends because I think everyone needs to hear it. I also felt seen by the guest on why I’m not a vegetarian anymore, food restriction is not good for my mental health!

I appreciate that KC gives us permission to change the narrative for ourselves and gives ourselves grace. It has definitely given me great insight!
