“Love this podcast and the hosts style and chemistry. I’m also a lifetime non-believing sort of Jew and struggled through much of the Bible several decades ago... more tedious than Moby Dick.
This is a great refresher course and I love the idea that others can do the tedious work for me, give me the synopsis, and let me see their honest reaction to it.
I also appreciate that I can go to hell without someone telling me how I HAVE to ‘interpret’ it; what I NEED to believe about it and how I HAVE to understand that these vile Iron Age goat herders were really the best folks god could come up with.
