He is a Professor in the Department of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology of the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at the University of Alberta. He’s a cardiac researcher who has been working to better understand the effects of COVID-19 at the cardiac level. His latest study is called the Multi-organ Imaging With Serial Testing In Covid-19 Infected Patients, better known as MOIST.
