“The touching story of two men, Matt and John, who were raised as brothers. When it is accidentally revealed that Matt is in fact the product of an illicit affair, he is ostracised from the family. Only the power of basketball can bring this broken family back together. The podcast really goes to another level when they bring in Dave, a failed actor turned licensed therapist, who turns out to be Matt's biological father. I would describe Super Hoopers as "intense", but everyone grows closer and a big lesson is learned.”
