Sixers finished last in the nba in only one year. Knicks, Wolves, and Bucks finished with worse records. Sixers only got the first pick one year and did not even get the second pick during all the tanking years.
You can disagree with the Sixers’ plan all you want but the end goal was for them to become perennial contenders whereas Silver was concerned with short term profits. Now, with the core players from those years of losing, Sixers are top three in home attendance. So the Sixers are making money for the league based on the model employed by the guy who was forced out of the league. Can’t believe you guys are defending that snake Silver.”
