“Just Like Mr. Wells, this podcast is not what it seems. It has stolen the identity of a "Flash" centric podcast! Within each episode, The hosts cleverly tantalize their audience with sporadic "flash" focused talk, always leaving their audience wanting more. The plan is simple yet brilliant! At the beginning of every episode, the hosts misdirect the listener into believing that they will be listening to a laser focused discussion of the events within the Flash TV universe. The hosts then relate the happenings within the flash universe to their true love "smallville." Just Like Barry breaking the space time continuum, the listener is transported back in time to relieve the host's fond memories of the long cancelled pre-superman show. The hosts then spring their other machinations (fictional hulk show, anything marvel, rocky movies, or Star Wars) on the confused listener. At this point of the podcast episode the listener struggles to recall what podcast they subscribed to. This is the moment the final trap is set! The hosts regain a laser focus on the "flash" with just minutes to spare! The listener is trapped wanting more, foolishly anticipating the next Starkville Lab episode. Diabolical! Even more sinister is the great chemistry of Sterik. Their humor and genuine love all things Geek do lead to hysterical conversations between that are endearing. It is impossible to turn away from such an earnest bromance. Lightly informative, but highly entertaining podcast. Listeners should view this podcast as a "Flash" appetizer before a meaty "flash" centric podcast can be engulfed somewhere else.”
