I’m sixty years old and presently work in China. As a boy growing up in Canada, I was an avid fan of DC golden age with Superman, Batman, and Green Lantern being my favourite heroes. In addition, I was also a major fan of the Hanna-Barbera superhero lineup. Both offered stories which were simple and entertaining. Hanna-Barbera had the best background music.
I always wanted to listen to the Superman classic radio shows. Trust me when I say that I transform into a little boy when I listen to every so-called, “Transcription feature”.
With Internet censorship in China being at an all-time high, many things which are taken for granted in the so-called western world are totally forbidden / banned here.
