“I love Dr. Carter. He’s taught me so much about the mind of a narcissist and set me free from abuse. I noticed his effort to continually refer to narcissists as « people », not « men », As a survivor of abuse from a female narcissist, I found Dr. Hawkin’s continual reference to narcissists as men very painful to listen to. If almost all of them are men, where do all the narcissistic mothers come from?”

“I really like this informative podcast. It is validating how I feel and reassuring me that I can overcome the abuse. My only complaint is the loud piano music. His voice is nice and soothing, but when the piano music comes on, it almost hurts my ears.”
