“I think this was the wrong case to try to do this kind of story with. Yes, there are too many stories of racism at work in the justice system. But this podcast seems to try to bend a story to fit this narrative, and it’s just not that kind of a case. There also is quite a bit of glossing over some very serious issues, and it makes me wonder what else they glossed over to tell this story the way they wanted it told.”
