“The first three episodes were very good and really interesting. But the narrator completely lost me in episode 4 when this turned into nothing but a story about race.
Emmanuel had a violent record, so it only makes sense that he would be a suspect. That doesn’t meant he’s guilty, but the narrator seems to decide that none of his past transgressions matter, and simpler brushes it off to an issue of skin color instead of character.
Maybe he did it, maybe he didn’t, but it was irresponsible to just brush past it all so quickly.”
