Description
Questions on today's Swami call: Can you explain the relationship between the place of Kuruksetra and Sri Krishna’s being drawn to think of Vraja-bhakti when speaking the Bhagavad-Gita? Is the meaning lost in translation?  When Arjuna asks Sri Krishna to show his four-armed form instead of the universal form, might it be that he is remembering their earlier joint appearance as Nara-Narayana Rsi?  If Narayana does not offer relationships beyond dasya-rasa, how is it that there is friendly, parental, and romantic love in Dwaraka? If the members of the lila outside of Vraja are aware that Sri Krishna is God, how could they turn down his attempts at peace negotiation before the battle of Kuruksetra? What does it mean to offer one’s sensual activities to Sri Krishna when those activities may be mundane such as having sex with one’s partner? How should we understand the statement of Srila Narayana Maharaja that madhurya-rasa has the unique quality of putting Sri Krishna in debt?
