Art & Design Series: The Constant Student with Tripoli Patterson

Description
In the current episode of the Art & Design Series on Swell Season Surf Radio, Chris Coffin and Chris Labzda sit down with Tripoli Patterson; Gallery Owner, Curator, Ex-Pro Surfer and East End Local. Born in Sag Harbor, “Trip” had youth full of travel and exposure to surf culture and art. His transient upbringing took him from New Zealand, to the North Shore of Oahu, and to Bali, but ultimately he calls the East End of Long Island his home. Tripoli navigates many distinct and separate worlds that often converge and cross pollinate on the East End of Long Island. Rubbing elbows with a variety of subcultures may include some of the biggest art dealers in the world, world class contemporary artists, fashion designers, local business owners, summer vacationers, museum directors and personalities in the local surf community. Somehow Trip is able to navigate the fray with humility and grace like a local navigates summer traffic in the Hamptons! It is our sincere pleasure to have Tripoli Patterson on Swell Season Surf Radio.
