Horrible, two-faced girls
I used to give this podcast 5 stars because I wanted influencer news and although they’re not the best at speaking and production, I knew these girls were just starting out and not professionals. However, it took a very dark turn when they started to lose their minds and say derogatory things about influencers and even their own fans when they didn’t agree with something. I saw this multiple times and I politely posted in their “Swiping Up” Facebook group with some of my concerns in response to another post that one of the hosts posted asking the group to be “drama-free” aka only trash talk the people they wanted you to but don’t ever question them as they started to try to be more like influencers (I’ll post it verbatim below so you can see) and I was removed from the group without a word. And let me be clear - I started listening from DAY ONE. I also was their FIRST review and had multiple great conversations with these women over DMs and in their Facebook group. It’s really sad because these girls talk SO much crap about influencers - until they get friendly with them. If you choose to listen (which I highly suggest you don’t), you will see a pattern of back-tracking and talking out of both sides of their mouths. It’s very biased and although I don’t think it was always mean-girlish (unless I was blinded by liking them and wanting to stick up for them), it certainly turned that way. My post below that got me kicked out of their group: “I think the biggest issue is if you’re actually attacking swipers (whether you mean to or not and whether you use their names or not - which I’ve seen multiple posts on - including my own at one point), it doesn’t really have anything to do with you having the “right” to, it just has to do with us deciding to still listen and support after feeling bashed (not speaking from personal experience but I would 100% stop listening if I was spoken to and about the way some of these swipers have been - which is fine as long as y’all are good with it.) As far as keeping the group positive and drama-free - I agree to the extent of not being blatantly mean and disrespectful to other people in the group (which I have never seen) but the podcast itself is full of y’all dropping the f-word in anger and calling people the c-word when you don’t agree with them so how are you expecting the group to be so different from the podcast? Asking as a confused but extremely loyal and day-one listener. And only posting publicly (and not private messaging) because I’ve had multiple girls reach out to me directly with their confusions as well and I figured you would want to know how many fans want clarity before jumping ship - which honestly, I’ve been close to with some of this mixed messaging.” It got 14 “likes” in the group in about one hour before it was removed. 14 of their fans agreed and just wanted an explanation. I also had 12 girls message me directly asking where my post went. Deleted. Blocked. Removed. The exact thing that they call influencers the c-word over (blocking just because they don’t agree with something), they did to a fan who was just asking for answers on behalf of other fans.

I used to really enjoy this podcast because I thought it was going to give insight into the lives of BIBs. Not so much. It’s more more like people talking over each other and constantly getting off topic and you wishing they would get back to the point. I can’t stand the hypocrisy either. I...Read full review »
