Makes me read a lot more into syrupy pop songs
I LOVE dance music, however I generally threw away the majority of it as commercial hook. This podcast made me appreciate what makes that hook, melody, beat, whatever, so addictive and frames it in a way that my classically trained brain appreciates all the more. Just as a wish item, can we do a segment on breaking down some Kpop music given their rise in popularity in the U.S.?

Switched on Pop is a great program. Not only do thy help me stay current but their analysis helps me dive deeper into today's hits and gain a more profound appreciation for their musical nuances.
