Description
Looking for more than audio? Watch below on Youtube. WATCH PODCAST HERE: First up on this lovely summer day is a talk with Mark A. Hershberg, MIT instructor, CTO, and author of The Career Toolkit: Essential Skills for Success That No One Taught You. He joins us to talk about self improvement and leadership. Sometimes, being a good leader is stepping back and letting people with more diverse backgrounds and skills shine when the situation calls for it. Yet we should always be striving to improve ourselves and our skills so that the bottom line is always rising. Following him is Steve Orrin, Federal CTO at Intel. He dropped by to chat about innovation and how to form a team to drive company systems into the future. Steve covers making sure to have a diverse team (backgrounds and experiences) to throwing hard-to-solve issues at a team and just letting them go nuts instead of micromanaging. As he points out, sometimes failure is good and can lead to learning a great deal!
