Hello and welcome to one more episode of the Talk2Rachel podcast. With the popularity of the British series Peaky Blinders growing every day, I often receive questions about the accent that most of the characters use in the series. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the series, it is set in the 1920s, in a city located in the middle of England called Birmingham. As many of you are aware from a previous episode about accents, there isn’t just one British accent, as there isn’t just one American accent, but indeed there are 37 different accents in the United Kingdom, and the city of Birmingham has a very distinct one.
