#195: Where Green Meets Red - Daniel Turner
Listen now
Description
This episode we have returning guest Daniel Turner, the founder of Power the Future. Daniel is always great to have on the podcast and discuss the craziness going on with our energy policy decisions. This episode we dive into multiple topics related to the ironically named Inflation Reduction Act, and how green energy policies are hurting the American energy complex and pushing more power to China and OPEC+. We talk about how China has abandoned the Paris accord and is making money off of the West's  "green energy" policies, while continuing to burn record amounts of coal. We also look at the new consumer focused laws aimed at stifling consumer choice in favor of the government picking the winners and losers. Banning gas stoves, lawn equipment, light bulbs, and ICE cars are just a few of the top down efforts aimed at consumer products. Lastly, we cover the Mountain Valley Pipeline, Alaska's Willow project, and how agriculture is now in the crosshairs of the green movement. Hope you enjoy the show!
