“Genius in theory, but subpar in execution so far; we all know that Smith “blazes” through all his podcasts now, but Smith’s typical wandering stoner ramblings don’t fit the premise, which is to get some humor and insights from following along with the episodes that they’re supposed to be talking about. Was hard to pick up on when they actually started monitoring the Frasier episodes themselves within the podcast, and then they’d only have a passing reference or two to the show before they’d be off on another detour about anything else. I won’t give up yet, but Smith’s Smodcast empire is sadly becoming too thick with pot smoke to be truly entertaining.”
