Description
The mellow fruitfulness of Autumn has been heralded by the subtle change in temperature and darker mornings and evenings in the garden. For Lucy Chamberlain and Saul Walker this starts one of their favourite times of year as Lucy's vegetable patch is at maximum yield producing food for East Donyland Hall and Saul revels in the changing colours in the canopies of his precious treescape at Stonelands. So join us throughout the season as we bring tales of crispy leaves, hibernating plants and plenty of pumpkins! The year is almost out as Christmas and the New Year celebrations begin! A perfect time for Head Gardeners Lucy and Saul to have a ponder about the last year (or the last two years really!) and define how the wish to approach their gardening practice for the coming season and those resolutions that will stoke some energy and joy into the horticultural spaces where the love to linger. This is the last episode of this year, so to all our listeners we both wish you a very Happy Christmas and look forward to talking (waffling!) to you all again in 2022.
