Spring 2022 has just arrived and a new chapter in our gardening lives has started as bulbs, early blossom and the beginning tufts of seedlings a herbaceous perennials speak of the year ahead. As days in spring seem to tumble one after another in an ever accelerating list of garden jobs, plantings and hum of mowers - its a great time to shake off the winter slumber and start to engage with the natural world around us, enjoying the spectacles of spring that lie within. As ever Saul and Lucy will bring you their waffled musings and exciting revelations as this most joyous of seasons unfolds! Meteorological spring has passed and we can officially look forward to longer days and temperatures slowly creeping upwards (no frosts please!). For Lucy and Saul this means more than ever we can engage with those jobs that all gardeners love and shake off the waterproofs and thermals that characterise are winter wardrobe. Magnolia is flowering,  the last of the over-wintering vegetables are being consumed, Spring fairs and flower shows are on the horizon and were even looking at our budgets to see what planty delights (and occasional bit of kit) we can afford.
