Yesterday we celebrated International Women’s Day which is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity. We look at how much parity women have achieved and how much parity they still want in their intimate lives and spaces. As well as obstacles they have to achieving parity in their intimate spaces.

This morning with Dr Eve we explore the topic, emotion or feeling, Jealousy. Can jealousy ever be appropriate? How about helpful? Or is jealousy always harmful? Jealousy is a natural emotion, but it can be painful and difficult to control. Dr Eve gives us practical ways to handle the "green-eyed monster". Jealousy happens most commonly within a romantic relationship, although it can occur in other non-romantic relationships.

Earlier this month the Centres for Disease Control in the US published a series of regulations regarding alcohol and safe sex practices that caused quite the stir. A warning to women about drinking set off an enormous amount of backlash on social media. Without a mention whatsoever of the drinking habits of men.
