“I was super excited to learn that Payne was doing a more “talk show” sequence type pod. I have been a fan of his other work and like the way he chooses to do things in the true crime world, but he’s such an interesting human in general and this is the best concept for someone like him. So far all of his guests have been wonderful, entertaining, and even educational. My dream in life has always been to have a podcast and do something just like this, so it’s a refreshing listen. It’s always great to just hear people have real genuine conversation in a world where that doesn’t exist much anymore. Def a 5/5. I recommend it a lot to my friends as a general “palate cleanser” type podcast to step away from the world of true crime and weird for just a bit.”
