One of my favorite podcasts ever
I started listening to this podcast after coming across David Leite on Instagram. The algorithm figured out that we had a few things in common: love for food, Portuguese heritage and family histories and memories made around the table involving food. Both, Amy and David have an energy that is contagious, they lift my mood every single day with their laughter and banter. You can tell that they are genuinely enjoying themselves whilst chatting to each other and producer Adam. One of my favorite parts is when they tell about their food fortnight which is basically telling each other what they have been cooking and eating, new dishes they tried when they travelled or in their local restaurants. It’s almost like meeting with friends, and at the end going home with a smile on your face, because it talks to my heart: memories are made around the table and people cook, to be and make others happy. The guests are interesting but the podcast works even without them. David and Amy are the main ingredients. Can’t wait for September!

Listening to this show is like hanging out with friends who do cooler stuff than you but are always happy to include you. From snacks to blueberries to Paul Hollywood, there’s always something to savor and learn.

August 20, 2022 This episode was an absolute treat. It makes me wish I could hop across the pond and enjoy high tea in London again. It was enlightening and enjoyable! And I may have laughed out loud on more than one occasion. — @karenskindredspirit —————-
