Chutties Express (Bachpan Express) - Season 2 Intro - Radio Drama - Importance of Girl Child Education. Out of a total of 250 Community radio stations spread across India, UNICEF and CRS chose 60 stations to take part in a program aimed at spreading awareness about the importance of girl child education and eradication of child marriage.Rathinavani 90.8 CR is the only radio station selected from our city of Coimbatore. The program goes by the name of Bachpan Express in the Hindi native states and cities, and as Chutties Express in Tamil Nadu. Rathinavani 90.8 CR,owned and operated by the prestigious Rathinam Group of Institutions, launched the Chutties Express initiative through its podcast channel on the online audio platform anchor.fm The launch as carried out by Honorable Member of Parliament, Coimbatore - Mr. P.R. Narataj, at his office on the 14th of November, Children’s Day.The first episode broadcast-ed from November 17th, and will continue till the 17th of January. Different themes will be covered in the time period.We will also be carrying out public interactions and try finding solutions for issues relating to girl child education.With help from our own Rathinam institution’s Edudrama programme and additional support from our government officials, we hope to bring about more change in such rural areas.
