On April 24, 2012, Nutley, New Jersey resident Patricia Krencil was arrested and charged with second-degree child endangerment after someone alleged she let her 5-year-old daughter bake in a tanning bed. Though a devoted sun worshipper herself, Krencil swore she never let that happen and a case wasn’t pursued by the courts. However, an internet legend erupted: TAN MOM!
