My God, That Voice!
I was happy to find this lecture. But then I listened to the first and second lecture and if I were to break it down to the top three most common distracting sounds you hear (instead of learning) it would be the sound of Dr. Stafford saying "Ahhhh" "Ummmm," and a persistent static background hum. It is literally ear splitting and headache inducing. Next, his voice cracks and is unbearably shrill because it was simply not recorded correctly. He presents himself so poorly with a boring and repetitive stream of consciousness style of lecturing that I couldn't bear it. My head hurts as I type this. I just can't take it anymore. Perhaps I will finish this later but the vocal quality and Dr. Staffords languid approach are just too much to take. Dr. Stafford, filter your recordings, clean them up, get a producer or some good sound software. And stop saying "Ahhhh" all the time. I give this presentation a D -. This is not the first iTunes University presentation that I've checked out and found the audio quality to be pathetic. Someone needs to up the standards.
