Glad I found out about your podcast!
François Legault literally represents Quebecers. He has been asked SO MANY TIMES to recognize systemic racism and he REFUSES to do so. Like we’re not asking you to turn yourself into prison by recognizing systemic racism. This is the BARE minimum. When I tell you most Montrealers were appalled that he even got elected, because he’s a rightist. Unfortunately, we forgot that Montreal doesn’t represent Quebec. So white Quebecers really voted this delusional buffoon into office, and because of his poor management of the pandemic crisis, they want him out now. Additionally, this Premier really tried to pass a law incognito that was directly threatening the livelihood of Indigenous communities and would cause their displacement, all in the name of “restarting the economy”. The Bill didn’t pass because of citizen efforts, literally all of social media and public figures were signing petitions, sending emails, memoirs, etc. to try to save Indigenous communities. What the Premier did was postpone the Bill (probably in an effort to make us forget and have the Bill pass incognito again) I hate it here. Don’t get fooled by Canada. It’s microagression and gaslighting land.
