“I want to like this podcast, I really do. The episode concepts are creative. Unfortunately, the episodes themselves are hit or miss.
There are also quite a few “little things” that distract me during the podcast.
The interviews feel very forced and not authentic - lots of “that’s awesome!” responses followed by a quick turn to the next pre-planned question. Awkward flow, but usually some good answers.
And there is a phone ding in almost every episode. Sometimes multiple dings.
I see the value in promoting the website during the podcast because the content is related. However, it feels like the website is a better resource and the podcast is only a way to direct traffic there.”
