“I love the funny stories and tips on how to manage the classroom. But teachers complaining is getting old. Why do teachers have to be so negative all the time? And why are we discussing politics? I’m surprised you all still have a job with how much you complain and say you hate your job. Yes it is hard. No it doesn’t pay a lot. But stop whining! Get up and do something don’t just sit and talk about how you hate everything. Also stop interrupting each other all the time. One person starts a story and never finishes because they get interrupted.
And before you say “this person probably isn’t even a teacher” I am. And I choose this job knowing a lot of the negative things about teaching. I made a choice to stay positive and make a difference. What about you? Did you do your research? Did you work in the classroom as an aide before getting your degree? Did you shadow and talk with multiple teachers? Why are you still teaching if you hate it so much? And don’t say “it’s for the kids” such an overused and cliche answer.”
