Non-Teacher Who Listens/Learns So Much
I’m likely NOT the listener that Ms. Stachowiak produces this fine podcast for, but I’m delighted that I have the opportunity to eves drop on Teaching in Higher Ed for my own learning purposes. I am not a member of the teaching profession. I advise/coach ‘knowledge workers’ regarding their learning and skills development, information processing, and tools-workflow automation in support of their professional development. - in other words, I help folks ‘hack’ their jobs. - For me and the work I do, this podcast has been a wonderful and informative resource. The host is insightful, offers great tips of her own, and is a joy to learn from/listen to. The guests are truly special and give rich, worthwhile info about the topics they cover. And the intro/exit music is a big, red cherry on top of a very enjoyable podcast. If you have any interest at all in learning to achieve more in your life, you might want to try this show. At a minimum, I think you’ll come away with a smile. Highly recommended!

I am a first year tenure track teacher. I’m an instructor that is focused on what students can do in the classroom rather than what information I can give them. Along that line of pedagogy, this podcast has been absolutely life-changing to my skills as a teacher. Episodes support my orientation...Read full review »
