“I’ve been following Jillian on TPT/IG for a few years, and have always been inspired by her classroom’s aesthetic, and the creative and well-thought out products she creates. This podcast is my favorite thing she’s done, though. Jillian is truly admirable in the way she thinks so deeply and critically about what is best practice for her students, and shares ideas to help us figure out what would be best for ours. I haven’t tested this out with a stopwatch, but I don’t think she goes one minute in any of her episodes without bringing it back to the WHY- our students. She also tackles tough stuff remarkably well, challenging popular and usually well-intentioned but potentially harmful practices without being judgmental or harsh. In short, Jillian cares very much for students and for teachers, and will inspire you to do the same.”
