I like most of her material
Okay I’ve listened to a lot of her podcasts and YouTube videos. I don’t agree with every one. But many of them have my mind. She’s growing and learning do cut her some slack. I’ve listened to the haters and I’ve watched her response video. Am I going to join a commune and worship Teal? No, and according to her response video it says a lot about her that she isn’t asking anyone to. Am I going to take the lessons that blow my mind and find ways to help me grow? Absolutely just like I listen and read many other teachers to find a middle ground that works for me. Ultimately, your best teachers are your guides. As a member of a group that spent 40 years getting called a cult and coming out of the other side, still a member and thriving as a group I have a unique view on the subject. When I first signed up to join my group, I subconsciously sought the cult experience. I wanted my life choices and afterlife to have a clearly defined certainty. But when a leader or a teacher admits to faults and doesn’t allow their group to give them absolute power, that’s gold. As a person who has led various groups over the years I know the roller coaster of leadership. You can’t be too uncertain otherwise half of the group flakes out and derails your plans. You almost always have to be the bad guy to some attention hog, deva that’s undermining a clear goal that the group agreed to. But when you enforce the boundaries like, “Please don’t be disruptive during this session because we only have two hours to help as many people as we can.” And some inconsiderate knucklehead is hooting and hollering in the crowd trying to get attention or showing up late and expecting special accommodations. That person calls out “narcissistic cult leader” because you ask for some ground rules to help as many as possible. (I’m literally using examples that I’ve dealt with in leadership of my group not Teal’s) Yes, I said “knucklehead”. You might ask, “What is a spiritual leader doing calling people a “knucklehead”? Well when someone else just cried themselves to sleep in despair the night before attending your group. And they show up seeking help. The “knucklehead” in the front row who is only interested in attention is busy fowling up the works. Most often, the help that is needed is less method and more love bomb. Namaste

I’ve benefited a lot from this. It’s not for everyone and it can be very confronting for its depth of truth but I love it!!! A few years ago I was introduced to Teal and have looped back many times for further insights. I’m currently at a point in my personal development where this content is...Read full review »
