Meet the creator of PizzaGPT, behind the scenes of the "Italian ChatGPT" In this interview, Lorenzo Cella talks about how he created PizzaGPT, an alternative website to ChatGPT for Italian users, after OpenAI blocked ChatGPT for Italian users due to privacy complaints from the data protection officer.  Lorenzo took advantage of OpenAI's API and experimented with a chat interface he was already working on to launch PizzaGPT, which went viral after he posted it on Hacker News.  PizzaGPT uses the same underlying technology as ChatGPT but without storing any data to be more privacy-friendly. It allows Italian users to access the ChatGPT API and converse with the language model.
