Wow
In the History of Electricity in Medicine episode, I had to forward over 20 minutes before an advertisement break. I learned about electricity on a molecular level but at that point, not much else. I deleted the other episodes I downloaded because I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard.

Though they try hard to be entertaining (TOO hard) then end up sounding slightly ridiculous and do not really give you anymore then a smattering of understanding about the subject at hand. Better podcasts with Scientific American and NY Times Science Times.

This podcast does not tell you anything about how the object in question works! It does tell you a bit about what it is, and often gives examples of it, but does not tell you anything at all about how it actually works!!
