Really helpful ideas, even for not (yet) homesteaders!
I found this podcast when I was searching for more gardening podcasts. Listened to a few past episodes, and then I stumbled onto “Building Your Homesteading Skills Now.” Wow. I think a lot of us have an interest in being a homesteader or being more self-sufficient someday, but it feels very “all or nothing,” like we don’t have land, so how can we homestead? Well, she is so right that you don’t want to wait until you actually have land to start acquiring skills, because you’ll have way too much to do all at once then. This was such a good list of ideas of things you can start learning about now, ideas and skills that will be useful to you even if you never own your own homestead. This was such a fresh perspective, and it made me feel very empowered to learn and grow right now! This is the episode that really sold me on this podcast, and now I can’t wait to listen to the rest of them. Thank you!
