I Always Come Back to Nora…
I’m not even sure how I found TTFA… I may have heard about it on another podcast or heard an interview… and I was hooked. I became a widow at 45 with 2 young children, my husband was diagnosed with a glioblastoma- always diagnosed as terminal. Joe died when he was 45 and my son was 6 and my daughter was 14, 18 months after diagnosis. I just took on survival mode thinking the smarter parent was gone and as an artist - really nervous that I was left to raise my children alone without much family. The story has a happy ending! I promise… and I feel like Nora and guests understand grief, and being a woman and so many versions of myself. Whether it’s a death, a life, a divorce, a scary unknown future, a name change or the tiny nuances of every life… I always comeback to TTFA and think… they get it… all of it … and thank you for this!

Terrible, Thanks for Asking tells sad stories so beautifully and thoughtfully. Nora’s voice is MADE for podcasting.

In a world where we filter the hardest moments or hide them altogether, Nora is joining a collective of humans giving us all permission to be expressive, real, and gritty when as we end and begin.
