Description
On today’s show we chat to ski instructor and holiday representative Rob Smith.  Having discovered a passion for skiing at a young age, Rob decided the university route wasn't for him and instead decided to follow his heart to the mountains pursuing his goal to become a ski instructor.  In this episode Rob brings us a wealth of wisdom as we run through the highlights of his 19 seasons across Canada, Japan, Italy and Austria as well as his transition to a holiday rep position setting the foundations for year round mountain life.   Today’s show is full of laughs as we discuss Rob’s mad Brexit border dash, his pandemic plane ride, the societal pressures surrounding season work, and what it's like to be on a chairlift during an earthquake.  Stay tuned for an abundance of advice as we go through Rob’s highs, lows, and injuries, and stick with us right to the end to hear Rob's unlikely story of how a legless lady left his ski students in shock. -- Credits Music by: Mondo Wave | Say Ahh!
