Love the hosts and movies selected
The hosts both have the passion for horror movies to make this podcast interesting, and the personalities to carry it. I’m only only giving it four stars though because a lot of the more recent episodes are just Freddie recapping the movie - literally walking us through the action, punch by punch, rather than analyzing the film or giving behind the scenes info. And some of the info they do give is not researched beforehand. The episodes when they analyze shots or choices made are the best, but they have been few and far in between lately. Recently they did a movie that that one of the hosts was in, I Still Know What You Did Last Summer. So many scenes were recapped with very little information, and the hosts began marvel at Brandy’s acting because they didn’t think she had acted before. She had a hit show (Moesha) and Disney’s popular adaptation of Cinderella - easily searchable on IMDb. Also, the one or two episodes where they had guests on were pretty interesting - wish they’d do it more… especially since Freddie’s wife is in a lot of good horror movies and has said she will do the podcast if asked. Well where is it!? Would be great to bring on guests for episodes where they don’t know the movie or don’t want to research
